Rotary head WS-3 (in cooperation with the PDT-6 rotary table) is intended for performing turning using the EDM method, including profiling the working surfaces of abrasive tools. In particular, it is used for machining difficult-to-cut materials and profiling grinding wheels, saws, and milling cutters produced by sintering powdered metals with other components such as diamond or boron nitride (CBN wheels).
